This article shows color pictures to accompany the pattern for a theorem painting, appearing in the Spring 2008 newsletter.  See the Newsletter for descriptive details. 

Blue peony- thalo blue, "very dry brush", suggest you do the yellow inside each petal first and leave the velvet as a highlight between the yellow and the blue, do not touch the blue or it will turn green. Linework is blue.
