From A to Z, learn what makes the beauty, elegance, and sophistication of goldleaf ornamentation.  Using adapted elements from an HSEAD tray to embellish the frame of a courting mirror, there will be a variety of techniques including larger units of flowers and butterflies counter balanced with smaller units of leaves and fine stems.  All steps of the ornamentation process will be explained and /or demonstrated. Included will be transfer of design, application of medium, timing, mounting leaf, proper etching, and shading.  The project is appropriate for all levels from rank beginner to seasoned painter.

Lab fee:  $80  includes fully prepared courting mirror frame, 1 pkg 23k goldleaf, gold size medium, black dura glow cut to size, transfer paper, polybrush, #2 pencil, was paper, swiffer, design, and directions.
