Esteemed teacher and lifelong member of HSEAD, Beth Martin has left the Society a lifetime of research and patterns along with her studio of brand new and valuable supplies for artists of early American decoration.  Beth's many "A" awards attest to her skills and her belief that artists should use the best materials available to them.   Her enormous cache of supplies and huge variety of patterns in every category will be available at our Spring Meeting in Burlington, VT.

Beth's children told us that HSEAD was a very important and a loved avocation in their mother's life.  They know that Beth would want her friends to share and enjoy her gift.  Beth will be missed, and she will be remembered fondly for her generous mentoring, her beautiful painting and for the wealth of research that will serve students of early American decoration.

Please take the opportunity to come to this meeting, enjoy demonstrations by some of our best teachers and artists, and pay tribute to Beth Martin and other teachers whose expertise and skills have enriched the legacy of early American arts and crafts
